Dirk Nowitzki scored 32 points, outscoring Charlotte's entire starting five, to lead the Dallas Mavericks over the Charlotte Bobcats in 100-83 blowout on Tuesday night for their second straight win. Josh Howard added 21 points.

The Mavericks started the game scoring 15 unanswered points as Charlotte missed nine straight from the field and two foul shots while committing three turnovers before DJ Augustin's scoop shot with 5:20 left put Charlotte on the board.

"It could have been 30-0, the way it was going," Charlotte Head Coach Larry Brown said.

Augustin finished with a career-high 21 points but it was nowhere near enough for Charlotte, who played again without top scorer Jason Richardson (knee). The Bobcats remained winless all-time against Dallas.

The Mavericks never trailed in the game and climbed all the way to a 25 point lead early in the fourth. Dallas shot 50% from the field and held Charlotte to 38.8%.

Raymond Felton was the lone starter in double figures for the Bobcats with 11 points. In fact, the starting five combined to shoot a dismal 9-39 (23.1%) from the floor.
