Butler Undergoes Surgery On Patellar Tendon

DALLAS -- Mavericks forward Caron Butler underwent surgery today to repair a ruptured right patellar tendon. The surgery was performed by team physicial Dr. T.O. Souryal at Texas Sports Medicine. He is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
In 29 games this season, Butler averaged 15.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 29.9 minutes.
