  • 1990 Rolando Blackman was selected to replace the injured Karl Malone (sprained ankle) on the All-Star team.
  • 2001 Michael Finley had 12 points and five assists in 19 minutes in the All-Star game. The East defeated the West 111-110.
  • 2003 Activated Eduardo Najera and Evan Eschmeyer and placed Popeye Jones (sprained right ankle) and Avery Johnson (right calf strain) on IR. Eschmeyer had missed 73 days (33 games) with arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. Najera had missed 63 days (27 games) with left knee surgery. Jones was activated 25 days (13 games) later. Johnson was activated nine days (five games) later.
  • 2008 Philadelphia outscored Dallas 34-23 in the second half. 23 points set the team record for fewest points in a half. 57 combined points is the lowest two-team point total for a half in team history.
  • 2010 Jason Kidd was named to the NBA Western Conference All-Star team as an injury replacement for the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant. It marked the 10th time Kidd has been selected an NBA All-Star.
  • 2014 Dirk Nowitzki is named as a replacement for Anthony Davis on the Western Conference All-Star team. It is Dirk's 13th selection in the last 14 seasons.
