This Day In Mavericks History

  • 2001 Steve Nash was named to the All-Interview 2nd team. Nash received 12 of the 124 media votes.
  • 2006 In the Western Conference Semi-Finals of the playoffs, Dallas defeated San Antonio 119-111 in overtime to take the series 4-3 and advance to the Western Conference Finals.
  • 2006 DeSagana Diop suffered a broken nose early in overtime of Western Conference Semi-Finals Game 7 at San Antonio, but he continued playing.
