This Day In Mavericks History

  • 1992 Finished the 1991-92 season with a record of 22-60.
  • 1997 Ervin Johnson (Den) had a 20-20 with 21 points and 26 rebounds. It was the 22nd time a Mavs opponent had a 20-20. It was the 6th time a Mavs opponent had 25+ rebounds.
  • 1997 Finished the 1996-97 season with a record of 24-58.
  • 2000 Finished the 1999-2000 season with a record of 40-42. It was the last of ten straight seasons with a losing record.
  • 2006 Recalled Pavel Podkolzin from the NBADL and activated him and placed Marquis Daniels on IL with a strained left hamstring. Podkolzin had been on IL the entire season - he did play in the LA Clippers game (the last game of the season).
  • 2006 Tied the team record low with six assists.
  • 2006 Finished the 2005-06 season with a record of 60-22.
  • 2011 Jason Terry finishes second in NBA Sixth Man-of-the-Year voting behind the Lakers' Lamar Odom.
  • 2011 Dallas defeats Portland 101-89 taking a 2-games-to-0 lead in the opening round of the 2011 NBA Playoffs.
