  • 1984 Mike Mitchell (SA) had 44 points, the 17th time a Mavs opponent had 40+ points.
  • 2008 Activated Eddie Jones and placed Jamaal Magloire (no injury) and Antoine Wright (no injury) on IL. Jones had been on IL for three days (one game) with a stomach aliment. Magloire would be activated three days (one game) later. Wright would be activated one day (one game) later.
  • 2012 With his first three-pointer of the game (1,719th of his career) at the 2:22 mark of the first quarter, Jason Terry tied former Maverick Dale Ellis for sixth place on the NBA's all-time 3-point field goals made list during the Mavs' 93-92 loss to New Jersey. He passed Ellis with his 1,720th career trey at the 2:26 mark of the third quarter. Former Maverick Peja Stojakovic ranks fifth ahead of Terry on the all-time list with 1,760 3-pointers.
