How To Use MavsWiki

This Day In Mavericks History

  • 1991 Johnny Newman (Cha) had 40 points, the 34th time a Mavs opponent had 40+ points.
  • 1996 Boston scored 46 points in the fourth quarter, tying the most points scored by an opponent in a quarter.
  • 2002 Hired Sary Benzvi as a player development coach. Benzvi spoke Chinese and would be able to translate instructions to Wang Zhizhi.
  • 2008 Activated Jerry Stackhouse and placed Juwan Howard (no injury) on IL. Stackhouse had been on IL for five days (one game) with a strained right hamstring. Howard would be activated four days (two games) later.
