Mavericks Announce 2010-11 Local TV Schedule

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks announced their local television schedule today which includes 64 games on FOX Sports Southwest and 12 on TXA21. All games can be heard on ESPN Radio 103.3 FM and in Spanish on 1270 AM KFLC.

TXA21 tips off coverage for the 2010-22 regular season on November 2 as the Mavericks travel to the Mile High City to battle the Denver Nuggets. Some of TXA21's telecasts include the new look Miami Heat's only trip to Dallas (November 27) and vs. the reigning World Champion Los Angeles Lakers (January 18) as well as two games against Phoenix (December 17 and March 27) and Portland (March 15 and April 3). In total TXA21 will carry three games at home and nine on the road.

FOX Sports Southwest's coverage tips off the 2010-11 season with the seaon opener against the Charlotte Bobcats on October 27. Its schedule features games against Miami (December 20), the L.A. Lakers (March 12), two games against Eastern Conference Champion Boston (November 8, February 4) and five total games against intrastate rivals San Antonio (January 14 and March 18) and Houston (November 29, January 27 and April 11). FOX Sports Southwest will telvise 36 home games and 28 road games in all.

Mark Followill returns for his 10th season with the Mavericks and sixth season as television play-by-play announcer for all TXA21 and FSSW telecasts. Bob Ortegel will continue to bring his 20-plus years of experience broadcasting Mavericks basketball to the telecast as the team's color commentator.

Now in his sixth season as the play-by-play voice of the Mavericks on ESPN 103.3 FM is Chuck Cooperstein. Cooperstein has been a regular on the Dallas/Fort Worth sports scene since 1964 and has been an anchor on ESPN 103.3 FM since the station's inception in 2001. He will be joined again by former Dallas guard Brad Davis, one of two Mavericks to have his jersey retired. Victor Villalba is back to call all the action for the Mavericks Spanish broadcasts on 1270 AM KFLC.

Although the HD status is subject to change, all Mavericks games can be seen in high definition this season on TXA21-HD or FSSW-HD.
