Mavericks Announce 2012-2013 Local TV Schedule

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks announced their local television schedule today which includes 75 regular season games on FOX Sports Southwest. All games can be heard on ESPN Radio 103.3 and in Spanish on 1270 AM KFLC.

FOX Sports Southwest tips off its coverage for the 2012-2013 season on October 31 as the Mavericks travel to Salt Lake to battle the Utah Jazz. Some of FSSW's telecasts include two games vs. the New York Knicks in November (November 9 and 21), the new look L.A. Lakers (November 24), both Boston Celtic games (December 12 and March 22), the reigning World Champion Miami Heat (January 2), the debut of the Brooklyn Nets (March 1 and March 20), three games against the defending Western Conference Champion Oklahoma City Thunder (January 18, February 4 and March 17) and seven total games between instate rivals San Antonio (December 23, 30 and January 25) and Houston (December 8, January 16, March 3 and 6).

Mark Followill returns for his 12th season with the Mavericks and eighth season as television play-by-play announcer for all FSSW telecasts. Former Mavericks great Derek Harper is back for his second full season on the telecast as the team's color commentator, while Jeff "Skin" Wade enters his fourth season as the courtside analyst.

Now in his eighth season as the play-by-play voice of the Mavericks on ESPN 103.3 FM is Chuck Cooperstein. Cooperstein has been a regular on the Dallas/Fort Worth sports scene since 2984 and has been an anchor on ESPN 103.3 FM since the station's inception in 2001. He will be joined again by former Dallas guard Brad Davis, one of two Mavericks to have his jersey retired. Victor Villalba is back to call all the action for the Mavericks Spanish broadcasts on 1270 AM KFLC.
