Mavericks Announce 2014-2015 Season Schedule

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks announced their 2014-2015 schedule today, tipping off their 35th season on the road taking on the reigning NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:00PM on TNT.

The Mavericks begin their 14th season at the American Airlines Center on Thursday, October 30 against the Utah Jazz at 7:30PM.

The Mavericks' national TV and radio schedule includes four games on TNT, seven on ESPN, seven on NBATV and three on ESPN radio.

TNT features Dallas four times this season all on the road. The games are at San Antonio (October 28), at Portland (November 6), at Oklahoma City (February 19) and at Portland (March 5).

The Mavericks' seven ESPN telecasts include vs. New York (November 26), at New York (December 16), vs. Chicago (January 23), at Miami (January 30), at Golden State (February 4 and March 6) and vs. Phoenix (April 8).

Dallas also has seven televised games on NBATV. They are vs. Miami (November 9), vs. Philadelphia (November 29), at Memphis (January 19), vs. the Los Angeles Clippers (February 9), at the Los Angeles Lakers (March 8), at the Los Angeles Clippers (March 13) and at the Los Angeles Lakers (April 12).

Additionally, ESPN Radio broadcasts three Mavericks' games this season which are at San Antonio on October 28, at Oklahoma City on February 19 and at Portland on March 5.

The remaining portion of the Mavericks' local television schedule for games on Fox Sports Southwest will be released at a later date. All games can be heard on ESPN 103.3 FM and in Spanish on KZMP 1540 AM ESPN Deportes.

January could be the Mavericks' most challenging month as they play a season-high tying 16 games, including 12 on the road. Some of those road games include the Cleveland Cavaliers (January 4), the Los Angeles Clippers (January 10), the Houston Rockets (January 28) and the Miami Heat (January 30). In addition, they have four back-to-backs.

The longest home stand Dallas has occurs in March when they play five straight at the American Airlines Center from March 10-20.

The Mavericks have 17 back-to-backs this season, 12 of which come prior to the All-Star Break. In total, 10 back-to-backs are on the road, four begin at home and conclude on the road and three are road-to-home.
