Mavericks Announce 2016-2017 Local Television Schedule

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks announced their local television schedule today which includes 79 regular season games on FOX Sports Southwest.

FOX Sports Southwest tips off its coverage for the 2016-2017 season on October 26 as the mavericks travel to Indianapolis to battle the Indiana Pacers. FSSW will also be there cover the pivotal Southwest division matchup against the Grizzlies when the Mavericks close out the regular season on April 12 in Memphis.

Some of the FOX Sports Southwest's telecasts will also include all three games vs. the Golden State Warriors (November 9, December 30 and March 21), both games against the reigning World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers (November 25 and January 30), all four games against the Los Angeles Clippers (November 23, December 23, March 23 and April 5) and eight total games between the in-state rivals San Antonio (November 21, November 30, January 29 and April 7) and Houston (October 28, October 30, December 10 and December 27).

Mark Followill returns for his 12th season as television play-by-play announced for all FSSW telecasts. Former Maverick great Derek Harper is back for his sixth season on the telecast as the team's color commentator, while Jeff "Skin" Wade enters his eighth season as an analyst.

In addition to a packed regular season slate, FOX Sports Southwest will air two Mavericks preseason games vs. Oklahoma City (October 11) and at Denver (October 21).
