Mavericks Assign Ricky Ledo And Dwight Powell To The Texas Legends

DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have assigned guard Ricky Ledo and center/forward Dwight Powell to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.

Ledo is a second-year guard out of Providence who appeared in two games for Dallas this season.

Powell was acquired by Dallas from Boston along with Rajon Rondo on December 18 and has appeared in one game for the Mavericks this year.

Ledo (6'7, 200) is averaging 12.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.8 steals and 33.6 minutes in eight D-League games (five starts) for the Legends this season.

Powell started four games for the Celtics' D-League affiliate Maine Red Claws this year and averaged 21.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

Ledo and Powell will join the Legends and be available for tonight's game when they take on the Reno Bighorns at 7:00PM CT at the Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco.
