Mavericks Assign Sean Williams To The Texas Legends

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have assigned forward Sean Williams to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.

Williams (6-10, 235) played seven games with the Mavericks after signing on December 21. In those appearances he averaged 4.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 9.0 minutes while shooting .750 (12-16 FGs) from the field and .833 (5-6 FTs) from the free throw line.

On January 6, Dallas assigned him to the Texas Legends. He played 22 games with 21 starts for Texas and averaged 15.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 1.0 assist in 28.5 minutes while shooting .506 (124-245 FGs) from the field and .767 (79-103 FTs) from the free throw line before being recalled to the Mavericks on March 4.
