Mavericks Complete Sign-And-Trade With Dejuan Blair

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they completed a sign-and-trade deal that sends DeJuan Blair to the Washington Wizards in exchange for the rights to Emir Preldzic.

Blair (6'7, 270) recently completed his first season with the Mavericks and averaged 6.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 15.6 minutes in 78 games (13 starts).

Preldzic (6'9, 220), a native of Turkey, was originally the 57th overall pick by the Phoenix Suns in the 2009 NBA Draft.
