Mavericks Recall Justin Anderson And Salah Mejri From The Texas Legends

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have recalled guard Justin Anderson and center Salah Mejri from the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.

Anderson and Mejri both made their D-League debuts last night at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco and helped the Legends to a 102-86 win over the Oklahoma City Blue.

Anderson started at guard for the legends and tallied a game-high 27 points (11-25 FGs, 3-7 3FGs, 2-3 FTs) to go along with five rebounds and two assists in 39 minutes. Mejri started at center for Texas and recorded six points (3-4 FGs), a team-high 12 rebounds, three assists and a game-high six blocks in 21 minutes.

Anderson (6'6, 228) is averaging 3.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 7.4 minutes in 10 games (one start) for Dallas this season.

Mejri (7'2, 235) has seen action in five games for the Mavericks this year and is averaging 1.0 rebound in 3.9 minutes per game.

Anderson and Mejri will both rejoin the Mavericks and be available for their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena tonight at 6;00PM CT.
