Mavericks Request Waivers On Novak

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have requested waivers on forward Steve Novak.

Novak (6-10, 230) signed with Dallas as a free agent on September 24, 2010 and saw action in seven games for the Mavericks this season. A native of Brown Deer, Wisconsin, Novak held averages of 1.6 points and 0.7 rebounds in 2.6 minutes per game.

The Mavericks roster now stands at 14 players.
