From July 6 - 15, 2007, the Dallas Mavericks' Summer Leauge team played in, and won, five games in Las Vegas.
The Mavs' schedule and results are as follows:

  • Friday, July 6

Dallas Mavericks 77
Seattle Supersonics 66
The Mavs' top performance came from guard Jose Barea, who notched 14 points and nine assists, and forward Maurice Ager, who added a team-high 17 points. Center DeSagana Diop grabbed a team-best nine boards and blocked five shots. The Mavs' defense held guard Kevin Durant to 5-of-17 shooting in his debut with Seattle. As a team, the Mavericks shot 39.7 percent from the floor and 88.5 percent from the charity stripe.

Barea stood out again, notching 17 points and three assists in 25 minutes. Forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu fetched 13 boards, and added 10 points in 24 minutes. The Mavs defeated the Blazers despite being outdone in field goal percentage, assists and blocks.

  • Tuesday, July 10

Brandon Bass sparked the Mavs off the bench with 15 points, eight boards and shot 11-of-12 on free throws. Mensah-Bonsu notched a team-high 13 rebounds; Barea had a team-high 18 points. Ager added 10 points and two boards, while Nick Fazekas contributed eight rebounds and 15 points.

Ager tallied 19 points, three boards, one block and one assist in 30 minutes. Bass added 16 points off the bench, plus four boards and three blocks. Fazekas notched 10 points and four boards. Forward Caleb Green (6'8", 238 lbs. from Oral Roberts University) added eight points and three rebounds for the Mavs. As a team, Dallas shot 53.8 percent from the floor and 71 percent from the free-throw line.

  • Saturday, July 14

Boston Celtics 70 In their most lopsided victory in Las Vegas, the Mavs shot 50.7 percent from the floor and committed 10 turnovers. Reyshawn Terry had his best game in Sin City, contributing 23 points, three blocks and two boards in 25 minutes. Barea added a team-high 11 assists and Fazekas a team-high seven rebounds. The Mavs held Boston to 37.3 percent from the floor.
